The 5 2 diet is not so much about loosing weight but also about living longer, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure and not having to eat a cocktail of pills each day in later life.
I try not to gorge on the 5 days I'm not restricting my daily calorie to less than 600. In fact i tend to watch what I eat and don't fancy over eating.
