is currently alienating quite a lot of fans and damaging its long term fan base. I accept that too many people were getting in too cheaply previously and that to get on a sound financial footing that needed to be addressed. We have done that and it seems to me things have now gone too far the other way.

Despite what McNally says I also do not think it makes any significant difference to our transfer budget whether we charge fans ?35/40 or ?45/50 for games such as Stoke at home. Charge the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal that by all means as thats what we pay at their place.

The online ticketing suggests that we have hardly sold any tickets to the Spurs game to season ticket holders.
