In the final dark days of the Chase regime we had terrible attendances. One of the first things that the Delia regime did was to attract a fanbase, by making cheap tickets available, particularly to kids and particularly in second-tier cup games. These kids now make us the well supported club that we are (see our huge following in London games).
As south says, we should be using games like Spurs to reinforce our fan base, making it an opportunity to be a fan, not trying to make a few extra quid to contribute towards Grant Holt's pie allowance.
