Playing away

Now morale is so low that we assume we only did well 2 seasons ago through mere luck. There was a lot more to it than that - but if current fortune is so poor we have to go back to slagging off history as well to justify how we feel now so be it. We were good in 03-04 but we failed to take it on a step, just like we did 10 years before that.
One fact mentioned below by someone was our away form - we haven't been any good away from home since the start of 1994-5 - and until we do something about that there's no way we can compete with any other team in this division.
And what's more, when you hear NW talk in any interview these days he concentrates heavily on his own perspective, not the team's. His own personal ambitions, how he turned it round 5 years ago... it's only a matter of time before he starts talking about himself in the third person like Shearer used to.
People believing we have some of the best players in the league obviously haven't seen us play recently...
