I'm sorry that you've had that experience.

I can understand where you're coming off if countless people are knocking on your door ramming their belief systems down your throat.

On the odd occasion I've had religious salesmen knock on my door, I politely tell them I'm not interested the same way I would a politician or double-glazing salesmen. In my experience they've respected this and not bothered me further.

However, it seems a daily occurrence that I hear athiests ridiculing people of faith. Strange behaviour.
