Oh and make absolutely sure you visit the Vatican, preferably on a Wednesday as it

is nutbag central on that day.

Don't take a big bag or anything with you cos you have to go through scanners etc. Make sure you visit the museum and of course St. Peters. It's amazing and for an athiest like me quite disgusting that they have so much wealth, especially when it was built during a time much of Europe was starving.
