Why don't goalies wear hats?

Apart from those that do, most don't. Must be tricky at this time of year with the low sun - unless they wear tinted contact lenses or summit.

Beacause they don't want to risk their hat falling off and knocking off the bails.

because you can lose sight of the ball over the peak at times.
