that I cannot fathom the popularity of pasta. Pasta dishes, I've found, can be immediately improved by eating them without the pasta.
Vegetarians, OK, I can understand them liking it, because unlike much of what they eat (I've been trying out veggie meals recently, on the basis that seeing as I don't like many non-veggie foods, I ought to see what veggies enjoy), pasta, being entirely lacking in taste or character, doesn't actually taste bad.
