I never said that everything was down to luck

I said that some things (quite possibly most things) are down to factors that the manager can't control so it isn't justified to jump on his back for every bad result or even string of results - you have to look at why the result(s) were bad.
If we looked tactically clueless and outclassed every game I would agree with you but apart from the Fulham game we haven't (I didn't think we were even on Saturday despite the scoreline).
