I'm going to try and be positive this week

Even though we lost and even though it was an awgful defeat.

Our biggets problem going into the game was strikers lacking confidence and not scoring. Both Holt and Mozza got off the mark so hopefully at least one of them might get on a roll. We also did have quite a few efforts on goal and missed a sitter or two so its not like we are not creating anything.

Other than that, its really just a case of everyone (including Hughton) calming down, getting a settled team out there again and dropping Turner. I honestly think that Turner has been (at least) partly responsible for almost every goal we have conceded whilst he's been on the pitch and its no coincidence that some of our other defenders have also started making mistakes in those games. He must not be allowed anywhere near the team again for a long time and I believe things at the back will settle down again.

With Chelsea then Arsenal we will probably also lose our next two but i honestly believe we are not far off clicking and if everyone is patient Hoot will get us playing well and winning within the next month or so. We are obviously going to be a in a scrap but we are still in touch with the pack above and so long as thats still the case after the Arsenal game (and then perhaps again at the turn of the year) then we still have a chance. We have a lot of winnable home games in the second half of the season so all is not lost even if we are firmly rooted in the bottom three for the next 2 months.
