Which accounted for relegation from the premiership after one season.
We're two years ahead in that plan and, if we go down, it's budgeted for. It's not a lack of ambition, it's sensible planning.
I personally am not too worried at the moment. We lost two games which we lost under Lambert, drew three games which we could have won (we had plenty of those last year) but, for the most part, have played better in four of our first games that we did in some of our last games last year.
It will take time for Hughton to experiment and we're not adrift at the bottom, so let's let him. He'll make mistakes. He's also made improvements.
From what I have noticed is that when he has made a mistake, it is rectified in the next game. Turner aside, he is on the way to fixing our defence. And who was he to realise we'd have trouble scoring, when we've the same players as last season who had no problems scoring? It's obviously a worry but one step at a time. I think Lambert was great but we were beginning to ride our luck last season and our faults were exposed. Hughton needs to have time to make sure these faults are addressed.
I definitely think there are worse teams in the league than us.
