Hughton vs Lambert

Anyone else think Lambert probably saw the way we were heading, less motivated players, small transfer fund relative to the most other premiership teams, bar one or two exceptions maybe?

Perhaps he got out at just the right time, as we were falling from our all-time peak in recent years

Which then puts the challenge Hughton (or anyone else we may have gone for instead) into perspective a bit

I still think we got the best of what was available, and relatively happy with the choice (of Hughton), however, who's to say we wouldn't be in this same position (or even worse, god forbid) had we taken someone else on as gaffer this season.

Surely ANY talk of rotating bosses again is insane, given who's available in the market and our financial position etc - just brings back very very bad memories of when we changed management teams every season, not long ago - if that means being a potential yo-yo club, with some sort of management/financial stability, well I'd honestly prefer to take that over gambling big time on our future and ending up like Pompey et al
