The idea that playing Wes makes us less solid is a bit of a myth

We struggled defensively last season because that was the area we were weakest in by far. Also add in the fact that we lacked a quality CDM (and possibly still do). I really don't see why our defensive woes fall on Wes' shoulders.

Bassong comes into the team (while guiding Barnett to his best performances) and Johnson actually plays a couple of good games: we look solid. Tuner replaces Bassong (Barnett is now leaderless) and Johnson goes back to normal. Nothing to do with Hoolahan at all.
