What Happened To The Diamond?

It did well for us last season.

Tactically its easy to apply-players are familiar with their roles, its positionally strong and swiftly offers cover at the back with support in attack.

We've played it before and its been successful, we have players who are used to it and new signings who would slot into it.

The tip is made for Wes, Butterfield or Howson. The base for Johnson or Tettey.

And two in attack. Gives the opposition plenty to worry about rather than us entering games perhaps more concerned about the opposition. Lets not worry about what they can do to us, let them be concerned about what we can do to them.

It seems CH set his stall out today for a clean sheet and a 0-0. When that happens you have to have a plan B if the opposition score early on-yet sometimes we carry on playing and employing the same tactics as if it was still 0-0.

New Manager and a new broom shouldn't mean dispensing with formations and tactics that have worked well for us in the past. As for thinking that teams have sussed us/it, well they've as sure as hell sussed what we're doing as an alternative, so what have we got to lose?
