No, of course - got four weeks yet!

We'll book up a couple of hotels in HCMC & Saigon in advance probably and then wing it the rest of the time. Route looks like HCMC-Hna Trang-Hue/Hoi An-Hanoi with trips out to Mekong Delta, Cu Chi tunnels (there's an AK47 firing range there as well apparently), Sapa and Halong Bay and anything else that takes our fancy, of which there is plenty of options.

Someone at work reminded me that one of our ex-colleagues is married to a Vietnamese woman, so I've been in touch with him too - he recommended using the Sinh Cafes to organise trips.

My mate had already booked a hotel in KL when he booked the flights - not sure of the name; but I think he said it's next door to the one you recommended - 5* for 38 quid! Result!

Really looking forward to it now.
