Nonsense. The amounts offered to different teams are totally irrelevant

if i am being offered a ?500k bonus to win a match am I going to not try and win just because some other team are being offered ?2m to win a match? The only thing that matters to me is what is best for me - which is a choice between winning (and getting the ?500k) and not winning and not getting it. So I am going to try and win (as is the bloke potentially getting ?2m, but not any harder).
