... E, block 2 are mainly responsible for the ridiculously quick renditions of songs, they generally start off ok in D2/E1 and then E2 tend to get clap happy and speed it all up until it dies a short lived death.
On Twitter I have an account called @SongsfortheCity, and have suggested many decent new songs, every f**ker moans we have nothing original or at least more unique than the sloop john b efforts that swept the country but no one else seems to start new songs and do anything about it.
When just the back rows of the E1 were singing "just can't get enough" at the end of the promotion campaign it sounded good and was much much slower, but when it got more well known it spread like wild fire and became a clap fest mongalong. Its the same with the St Pauli "we love you, we love you" song, the majority of the barclay haven't the foggiest what the actual words are and so just sing the "wooooooah" bit over and over.
The atmosphere for the first two home games has been pitiful! And some of E2's retorts to other teams songs are laughable.
People need to slow down, sing loud and proud about their clubs colours and how they inherited the club from their fathers or grandfathers. About being a community and proud to be sat together in the Snakepit or Barclay supporting OUR local side. Fuck singing about other clubs and their rivals, they've heard it all before!!
Other clubs should come to Carrow Road and be taken back by our supports passion and pride. Our away support has become much much better over the years, yet our home support on the whole is gradually getting more and more shocking!
