the last three games we have been the better team and created most chances

you'd struggle to find three consecutive games last season where that was true.
We haven't taken those chances and thus haven't got the results we deserve, but if you keep doing that the odds are more in your favour than if the opposition if having more chances than you are yourselves (which was true for a most of last season).
We could be 8 games without win, but that could have happened if we'd played just like we did last season too. Wigan were sh*t until March last season and stayed up confortably. We mustn't panic - we're doing the right things, we just need to tuine it a bit and get some breaks for once.
