Generally, I think we've all slightly forgotten that we were pretty poor in many games last year (especially the latter part of the season) and also we've not yet learnt completely to trust Hoots (so we don't forgive him everything, as we did with Lambert, who was always, always given the benefit of the doubt, even when he got things very wrong). Hoots had been in charge for 4 games only - he's got to be given a proper chance. Lambert never really managed to solve the defence/attack balance problem, and we still have it. I still think we'll be alright (because actually, i think we're a better side than we were) tho I don't think it'll be quite the same wild excitement as last season (which is also an aspect of "second season syndrome").

On thing I'm sure of, and that's that the crowd must stick with the team - if not, we're done for.
