A slightly different perspective on yesterday and the season so far.

I didn't go to FCR yesterday. I didn't watch the game on Sky, nor did I follow it on-line. Instead, I was at the wedding of close friends in Kent. The service was at 2pm, and as I was assisting in various duties for the groom, I lived in blissful ignorance of the whole game yesterday. To be honest, I was so busy, I didn't have time to think, worry or really miss what was going on at Carrow Road.

It was only when we came out of church at 3pm, that I had the chance to quickly check my phone to see what the final score was. My very first reaction was, great we've kept a clean sheet... followed by the thought that it was another point in the bag.

By last night, I'd had a chance during the evening reception to look a little detail of the game, and some of the various reactions of wrothers from out of off of on of here. This morning, I lay in my hotel bed watching the MotD repeat.. where at last I could get a small idea of how we looked yesterday.

Without getting too bogged down for once on the tactics, the line up, who played well and who didn't etc etc etc... I feel I can take a refreshingly objective view of where we are, and I can't help but honestly feel very optimistic about our chances this season.

Yes we haven't won yet, but then we're unbeaten in our last three. We've kept a clean sheet already, and it won't be our last this year, which is progress indeed. We're not sticking chances away, but we ARE creating them. Plenty of chances at that, judging by the last three games. Keep on creating and the goals will come! We're so far from needing to press the panic button, I think we've a lot to look forward to. Hughton's influence is still in it's infancy, but things seem to be gelling very quickly. All I see from where we are right now is positive.

One last thought, before I venture in to too many words.... I'd rather have one defeat and three draws for my 3 points, than one win and three defeats. Makes you think, doesn't it?
