It was! Very unexpected. My brother passed it onto me as he'd loved it and I took it

politely but didn't feel tempted to pick it up. Eventually I thought I'd better start it out of duty in case he asked me about it and then I couldn't put it down!

It reminded me in tone of Candide. I loved it's daft and extraordinariness!
