On subject of car death murders stuff

I worked in Puerto Rico some years ago and for weeks I wondered what the number in the bottom right hand corner of the weekly San Juan paper meant. It was highlighted in a thick black lined square. Innocently asked a local bloke in our office only to be told it was how many people had been murdered on the Island that week. Normally averaged one a day but do remember seeing a 21 one week.

90% were drug related.
