Was Worthy Misquoted??

Saw this in the Times Online site.

Nigel Worthington, the Norwich manager, said. ?But ability is not enough. You need those two ugly words, hard work, as well.?

This perfectly describes Worthy's whole ethos. Personally I think he was misquoted and meant to say "ability is not important, you need hard work instead"
