maybe city want the game played early sunday (to lessen recovery-time for geordies); newcy obviously want it later.

the lge cup the following week also muddies the waters - geordies are on tv at old trafford on the weds, our game v donny likely to be the same night

If it is gamesmanship, that is taking disrespect to fans to a new low.
