No way in the world is this true. Chelsea had some horrific spells in the 90?s in seasons. In 93 for example they didn?t win for 11 games including 9 defeats. Large winless/losing spells in 94, 95 and 2000 and 2001. Even the late 90?s they were pretty inconsistent, worse than last season for sure.
