We had the biggest "football budget" in the clubs history

which includes:

1. what was probably already the biggest wage bill in the clubs history; plus

2. new contracts and wage increases for holt, Ruddy, Surman and Martin; plus

3. Transfer fees and wages for Butterfield, whitaker, Bassong, Turner, Garrido, Snodgrass, Tettey and Bunn.

FOOTBALL BUDGET, not transfer budget. People interpreted that as if we had ?25m to spend on transfer fees. We don't. We probably have ?25m to spend on the whole lot and i'd imagin that will still be comfortably the biggest budget in the clubs history.
