I dont think they can just snatch him

I think technically he doesn't have to do it for ten years as he got residency in Monaco. However due to this causing outrage he's now agreed to go and do his national service at some unspecified point in the future.

I understand the nervousness at loans but its really not the same. Two season long loans to supplement the squad is absolutely fine, particularly as (unlike the Roeder era) we actually own outright lots of great players.
