Just watched a live news conference talking about Mars and the findings to date

Only turned it on for a minute or so.

45 minutes later I was still engrossed. Great stuff.

Funniest bit was them taking live questions from all round the World. An enthusiastic Irish TV reporter said he wanted an exciting soundbite for the Irish people to wake up to tomorrow morning, "something poetic - how will the Martian World look at the very same time dawn breaks in Ireland?".

Cue six of the biggest nerd brains in the World looking at each other frantically, hoping someone would say something.

Then, "erm, well it's south west facing, so, erm nice and shadowy."
