I was talking about the effect the english coaching has on good individual players recently to a mate . . . Did Rooney ever get close to his potential? I swear he was much better at everton, his touch, his dribbling, His ability to do something really really special seems to have left him. . Sure he may well be a better goalscorer but he's lost that something special about him. He's half the player I thought he'd turn into.
