seem to actually like her a lot. Otherwise it wouldn't bother you that much. In which case, just play your cards. You never know. Women can be a mystery. She might actually be thinking of you all the time and not think you are interested, and therefore be protecting herself.

If you don't really care, then you're right. But don't eat yourself up about it. If that's the case I will refer you to another philosophical friend of mine whose mantra is simply "Fuck ' em"
