CHRIS HUGHTON wants to beef up Norwich by taking Blackburn midfielder Steven Nzonzi on-loan for the season.
The Canaries were thumped 5-0 at Fulham in their opener on Saturday.
And boss Hughton wasted no time in putting in a call to Ewood Park over the transfer-listed Frenchman, 23.
Fulham and Stoke are interested in signing Nzonzi but have been scared off by Blackburn?s ?10million price tag.
Hughton hopes to sort out a loan deal with a view to a permanent move next summer.
