a defeat against the most out of fro team in the premiership during which they hit the post and missed a penalty doesn't exectly get my lulse racing either yetit is being played out as if we have turned the corner.
I am almost resigned now to the fact that Worthy will not go and the fact he will not be sacked and feel very despondent about the way the club is heading. I will be backing the team 100% as usual on saturday and at every other match I go to but for me we won't ever play to our true potential whilst he is manager of the club and will continue to waste opportunities that come our way. The fact that even last night he still played Hucks up front and Charlton on the left wing says it all.
We will probably beat Sheffield Wednesday on saturday but it proves nothing - they are crap. likewise we will probably scrape a win against Cardiff at home and I sincerely hope we do but the fact remains that even if we go on a decent run now and say make the playoffs we have wasted half a season and it will only be a reaction to things going so badly wrong for the first 15 games. Rather like the fact we only picked up in the prem was down to the fact we were in the last chance saloon and he chucked Safri and Shacks in so "they couldn't complain they had not been given a chance."
