Mine:
Ruddy
Martin, Turner, Bennett, Tierney
Howson (Til Fox is fit)
Snodgrass Surman
E Bennett
Holt Vaughan
For me, Bennett played behind the front two in a couple of games last season, one being Swansea (I think), and he looked half decent there. Snodgrass was working hard to track back on Sat, and Surman puts a half decent shift in normally. Howson clearly should be playing further forwards but at present we need a ball player there, not a Johnson...We ALWAYS play better with ball playing midfielders.
Once everyone in the team is fit I think I'd go for this:
Ruddy
Martin, Bennett, Turner, Tierney
Fox
Snod/Bennett Pilks/Surman
Wes
Holt Vaughan
It's kinda going back to the diamond from last season, but in all honesty it worked well MOST of the time (Not all admittedly), but at least with that team you can get some pace in on the right and upfront, as well as a midfield who can all pass half decently. Ball retention is clearly key while we're still sorting out defence, and should always be key, so it's imperative we have a team who can actually hold on to it.
At the back I've only kept it the same as we have no other options right now really, but I'd MUCH prefer Ayala in there with Bennett to be fair...let them mature and grow as a partnership. Oh well, that's gone until next season!
Anyway, let's be positive for Saturday, Fulham are one of our bogey teams, WE are QPR's bogey team. No booing, full on support, let's get 3pts on the board and be in a better position after 2 games than we were last season.
