I just find it ridiculously hypocritical that the same people who are saying

"it's only the first game of the season, give Hughton time, give the players time" are slagging off Holt knowing that he ALWAYS takes half a dozen games to get going, but when he does he's always our best player.

Now, Holt has given the fans reason to keep faith and believe that he can turn things around yet certain people slate him. Certain other players have been poor for ages and done little for the club yet recieve absolutely no criticism, while a manager that has so far undone a lot of the good work achieved by his predesessor is guarded by the same fans who lack faith in our proven heros.

None of it makes sense.
