Just seen this on the fiver newsletter off of the guardians

If Robin Van Persie cost Manchester United the reported ?20m and they are paying him the reported ?200,000 per week then over 4 years he will cost the club ?60m. RVP's average number of goals over the last four seasons is 22.25 and if he keeps that up over the next four years that equates to about ?675,000 per goal.
