So I took my gig ear plugs with me and used them. Because they level out the sound by blocking the vibration, I heard everything perfectly

Always a great tip for using ear plugs at music shows, is, that because they level out the sound, the prick next to you talking all the way through, is drowned out by the noise coming from the amps
