From WACCOE....

Been out for the day with the family and stopped in Wetherby to get petrol on the way home. Low and behold Snodrass and Mcormack were in the car behind. As Ross went to pay i thought i'd grab a couple of mins with Snoddy.

I started by letting him know my thoughts on Bates and that I fully understood his reasons for leaving, dissapointed as i was, he told me he thought he was staying assuming the takeover would go ahead but got a phone call just before the move happened about the takeover that changed his mind totally, he now believes it's unlikely from the information he was given. He reckons it's mostly just an exercise to get fans to renew ST's. Obviously said there's a lot of things he's not aloud to talk about but it's clear he no fan of Bates. Him and Mcormack are obviously good pals so i'd be very surprised if Ross didn't move soon as well seeing what Snoddy's now got.

A really nice lad and very happy to chat, hell of a broad scottish accent though !

Bates must be paying them peanuts - Mcormack only had an A5 s-line

He made it clear this was just his opinion...hope he's wrong for all out sakes....
