Yesterdays game...

Few thoughts from what I have heard and read and I didn't go.

1) Hughton seems to be playing Howson as a DCM. As we witnessed ourselves and Leeds fans forewarned he is far superior as an attacking CM behind the striker e.g Everton at home.
2) Snodgrass is better as a wide player than behind the striker again something the Leeds fans forewarned. I think ge lacks the pace needed to be a success in that role and to break at speed.
3) in light of comment 2 has Hughton tried Bennett behind the striker ?? Worked against Swansea away and means Snodgrass can revert to his favoured right wing berth.
4) Morison is a better lone striker than Holt..Lambert had this sussed.
5) The fact that Morison & Jackson came on and Vaughan didn't is telling at least in my mind. Don't think he wants to risk injury feel he will be sold/loaned shortly.
6) Tierney struggled yesterday we really need to add a decent LB at least for competition.
7) likewise Russell Martin always struggled at RB last term we need Whittaker fit to provide competition a.s.a.p.
8) the end o the transfer window is vital for us we need to add minimum 2 preferably 3 players that would be comfortable slotting straight in the first 11.
