Can only be described as the greatest 2 week festival of sport we will ever witness....

This has undoubtably restored national pride.

Take a bow Team GB and all the athletes from every country who has competed. You gave us something very special.

And well done to the fans for creating a passionate, carnival atmosphere at all the venues.
