always thought it overdid the cycnicism - no subtlety. Absolutely everyone was incompetent, venal and corrupt. (And it always fell back on uber-swearing when they couldn't think of a gag.)

That was why I thought him accepting a gong was hypocritical. One thing to paint every single politician and advisor as cretinous buffoons. But then to accept an OBE from exactly the same people? What was that about?
