Seems to be just a comparison of reality against different predictive models

China & GB have over-performed according to those predictions (eg. GB predicted 36 medals; actual 47). USA drops down because the predictions were more or less correct.

I haven't read up on the models; but seems to me as (in)accurate as any other expert opinion.
