I can see the argument for keeping him

Given that he is showing glimpses of form for the first time in his spell with us BUT I am not sure why so many seem convinced he is such a potential world beater. From what I saw last season he wasn't that quick and just looked like a bit of a bull in a china shop. Maybe Hoot has decided to get rid before he gets injured again. Despite what he says Vaughan certainly seems to be "available" this summer given how many clubs he has been linked with.
