Regarding Wiggins views on helmets - he was behind Kivilev when he died during Paris-Nice in 2003 (User Posted Link Of course racing is very different to the daily commute - they're going much faster and taking much bigger risks so helmets make sense; but it's an insight into his view.

Indeed, evidence does suggest though that compulsory helmets actually increase fatalities than reduce them (but I'd have to ferret out the evidence if it isn't in that article)
