Most depressing thing for me

He didn't want to sign for whatever reason when we went up to the Prem; the makeweight as part of a Francis deal failed and now he's unwanted and past the proverbial sell-by date at Portsmouth he suddenly considers that we're an option. He might have been okay 18 months ago; he's not played that well since and is now carrying an injury.
