You'd think so...

I once saw a man on a one-way road in Shepherds Bush beeping his horn repeatedly at an ambulance while paramedics in front of him dealt with an emergency involving an unconscious and seriously injured cyclist.

I've also seen people selfish enough to cross at traffic lights while an ambulance is approaching, only to shake their fist at the driver when it speeds through a red light.

There are more idiots than you think.
