When was the last time any of those names mentioned beat Cav in a sprint?

Yes it happens every now and then but rarely. Up until the last 45 minutes it appeared they had it in control. They had cut the gap and seemed to have even taken their foot off the pedal, not worrying about a 50 second gap. That is where Cav was 1-2. Things quickly changed from there though. Obviously without help from others it took it's toll on them.

As I have said you clearly were not that confident as you would have put your cash where your mouth was. I also notice that you disappeared for a while when the commentators appeared to believe that the pelaton was catching the leaders quickly in the last 15k
