Our reluctance to off load some of the deadwood is concerning me...
Players like Barnett, Ward, Crofts, Lappin and C Martin are all not good enough at this level. All of these players could be sold now and a decent fee got for them that could go back in the transfer kitty.
How long does it take for Hughton to realise these players are not good enough for PL football?
If Lambert had stayed on I feel that all of these players would have been moved on or at least tried to.
I worry that Hughton has been told to keep on these players by the board. But then I am sceptic of our board.
