based on other examples of religious schools, yes.

I have no doubt, but it is just my opinion, that these schools will overstep the bounds of curriculum and government restriction on what can be taught in relation to Creationism.

I don't see how the original article is scaremongering - they state that three groups with Creationist views are hoping to open Free schools. They also give the right to reply to those groups.
