SkySports are reporting that Norwich have made a bid for Snodgrass from Leeds. I didnt know you had to bid for players from your feeder club

Leeds United have confirmed they have "reluctantly" accepted a bid from Norwich City for their captain Jonny Howson Robert Snodgrass.

The Championship club said that the 23-year-old 24-year-old, whose deal at Elland Road expires in the next summer, had "expressed a desire to play Premier League football at the earliest opportunity".

Leeds admitted their disappointment at not being able to secure the former England Under-21 Scotland international on a longer deal.

"The club has been in discussions with the player about a new contract at Elland Road for more than 12 months, but he has been steadfast in his position that he would like the opportunity to play Premier League football," said a club statement.

FFS we really need to start growing up on here. The time to start b***hing is when sky sports, or our OS issues a statement saying Norwich have actually BOUGHT Snodgrass. We can't stop Norwich putting in a bid, and Norwich, for their part, are obviously interested (and why not) and will want to let their fans know that they are 'active'.

But this is how Waccoe works isn't it...Norwich put in a bid and this immediately signifies that (a) Snoddy will definitely be going to Norwich, (b) The takeover is off, and ? We are all doomed.

Look at west ham, so far they've been linked with just about every f**ker going, including Snodgrass, yet who have they actually signed at this point?

Let 'em bid, let Aston Villa and everyone else bid for him...if he goes then let's at least make sure it's for top dollar.
