were doing quite well in this league until I found out that they were called The Greens. i didn't have any green-shirted teams (I had about 30 sets of players - I was very easy to buy bufty prezzies for) so I got the old Humbrol out and half-arsedly daubed one of the other teams some new green shirts. They were thick shirts - they had texture. And they immediately went on a terrible losing streak. Undeterred, and captured by this new artistic streak, I designed loads of cool new kits and painted several other teams equally badly.
